Dusty McFly-Buffies Benihanas Mixtape Review

Now normally i just stick to my video game reviews or just my new pick up reviews but this one is a little different. now personally i  heard of this cat before and  he goes by the name of Dusty Mcfly. From what i was told his Recent Mixtape called Buffies and Benihanas was delayed for almost a year...now that its out i feel i should give my take on his mixtape.

When i first his single "i'm out here" he caught my attention...for one...he's from the same hood i came from...brightmo...and plus on top of that the way he came hard on this beat was really different..it didnt sound like your average detroit rapper with a beat with too much bass and always yelling over the track..I'm the type of person that pays attention to what your talking about before i listen to the beat...if you really aint talking about shit then i just keep it moving...this track personally in my opinion was his intro the semi main stream sort of and just letting people know...he's out here lol too me. but i'll leave it at that.

The video:
When i finally saw the video (it was not on worldstar i was surpirsed) i ended up having to find it on youtube and i watched it. i feel it was too much going on in the video but over all a good video...The video kinda reminded me of blade icewood video sort of...i just felt if they would of stop switching to different sences every 10 seconds it would been ok but this is just my opinion.

The mixtape:
The mixtape sounded pretty dope..had nice beats..everything was different than most detroit rappers...his beats was sounding good and his flows was nice too. I'm glad that he wasnt one of those rappers who had a hot ass single and then when you listen to there mixtape/album the shit sounds like hot garbage in 90 degree weather..my only gripe about the mixtape is that he had too many of his boys on this mixtape...i mean yea its ok to give ya boys a feature or too but i felt he kinda over did it a little bit. oh and lets not forget that i like the fact he was using the sonic sound effect too lol.

Overall:
This shit will get alot of playback in my car i know for sure. Its very rare that you hear a detroit rapper from the hood come out with a mixtape that didnt have wack beats and wack flows. ima be on the look out for his next project which i hope will be soon (here's hoping he did alot of music while he was waiting for this mixtape to be release) i give it a 4 outta 5. the one thing i hope is that if he were to go mainstream will he try to change it up how he raps? or will he still keep the same hood style that everybody likes...i just hope that he doesnt switch up like most rappers...and thats about it.
