So DeeDogg is getting better from the looks of things.
After a long stressful week at my job i was glad and ready that the weekend came because:
1. final monthly for street fighter IV
2. Not gonna see my manager
3. Hang around my friends and family.
4. go to my bro harrison party.
So looks like i get to have my mind at ease...The day before the tournament i decided i was NOT gonna play street fighter. reason why is because the last time i did this in the gamestop tourney i ended up going all the way to the finals. So i decided not to play street fighter...i we to fai house and help jai with his homework and play nintendo wii! (he's been begging me to bring it for the longest lol) i got a text on friday that my boy brandon ( now known as b.masters) will not make it to the tourney due to him working. twan texted me to see if he could roll with me so i didnt care. saturday came and i came and scooped him up and we went to the tournament.
we finally get there and we was already at crowd! the were having there casuals and what not and i just watched. this one dude there was using seth and he was GOOD. seen some stuff i never see done with seth period...first thing that game to my head was...maaan i hope i dont have to fight him in the singles lol. because he was running a clinc on them peoples..lol
So bout 30 minutes passed and i went upstairs and text my gf to tell her whats going on...from the looks of things she was alil mad? because i didnt tell her i was going to a tournament that i goto every month? chea....ok...whatever...ANYWAY. after that i text my boy KT to tell him i am bout to enter this tourney after that i went down stairs...(i was outside because downstairs there is no signal down there)
So i get down stairs and the teams starts...me and twan teamed up once again So we can get this money. last time we got 3rd. but we want first. our match was first. twan played first just in case i lose my match. twan ended up losing his match!!!! So now the pressure was on me (mind you if i lose we goto str8 to the losers) i ended up playing a gen...i freaking hate gen just for the simple fact that some jerk on boxden plays with him in a cheesy way....So we started playing and i saw that cross up coming....i did whatever in my power to gnot get crossed up in that mess...it came down to the final match...i freaking went for broke. gen had me beat. for some odd reason he threw a low fierce while i was down and all you heard from guile was "GOING!" i ended up winning that round. i had to stay on the sticks and play twan opponent.
It was Reddevilninja...we go way back...i used to always play him a vdo at the butterfly and i used to play Reddevilninja on xbox live as well so i know for a fact that he is not gonna lighten up on me. he picked abel i pick BALROG. this was the first time i get to really test my balrog because i am so used to beating up random bums online. and my ROG was rusty because i was nervous...once Reddevilninja won one round.... i changed my style of play and thought about what kamal said after round two kamal said that i get more so nervous of who i play rather then just playing the game. So i just played....and i won! even tho i messed a couple of combos i manage to get us into the next round.
Second match we had we breezed through that. twan one his and i had to face a balrog player...i went with....HONDA! i used him pretty well seeing i have not played with him in over a month..i was str8 clowing with em. hell i was even creating some set ups lol short headbutt into a onichi throw hahaha never done that before lol. so we ended up winning that set.
next set was agaist that seth dude and another player who played with a pad (like brandon) that dude was nice...he beat twan (twan used honda) so i ended up having to fight the seth player....that freakin dude made a damn combo video out of me the first round i wont even lie...i had to change the style of play the second wrong and put a mean whoopin on him. final match came and it was down to the last draw...i get REALLY really REALLY when i am in a tournament and we down to the last draw i jumped up and got hit by seths long arm attack and loss...the crowd was like AWWWWWWWWWWWWW...afterward they were giving me daps telling me to ex flash kick.
No now we in the losers...we breezed thru that..twan stepped his game up and got us into the finals agaist the seth team again....i didnt do really good that time but i was hanging in there. we ended up losing. we got second place though! i was happy. after that twan and i and a couple of other gamers decided to go get something to eat.
So we ended up going to a coney island...and chilled there...as we walking in i saw a sushi bar!!!! my greedy ass...it was pretty cool hangin with other people who play videogames...they wer some fools....tell me why twan wanted some chocolate milk?!?!? and then this other dude came in a wanted the same! wow....that was so random to me...
i ended up ordering me a damn corn beef....and then went to the sushi bar and order some shrimp tempra rolls...didnt eat them there just waited til we got back to the place and just sat and watched people play and eat. everybody was asking me "wow dude where did you get those from!!! i want some!!!" i just told them "i came out of here....made a left went to the corner and made another left and walked across the street and i saw this place. lol i think they though i was being a smartass until i showed them the business card lol.
Singles started and i was just winning...i made it all the up to the Qtr finals and loss...went to the loser bracket and ended up losing to a bison that i beat before...i had rog...shoulda picked guile lol...Twan ended up winning the whole thing again...that last match he had agaist that seth dude was str8 epic..
after that we all left and twan gave me props on well i played...after that i had to shoot him to the crib because i was late for harrisons party...went to his party and had a blast and got alil drunk too at the last minute lol...i'm so cool...
